A 4 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom, Two Story residence above a 3 car Garage and Storage. The residence is located in a Neighborhood Traditional Zoning District. While the building site is a waterfront property, it is separated by a local road, essentially creating two separate parcels. The challenge for this site was twofold. The first, the exterior focus to the waterfront is from across the street for the building location on the lot. The exterior focus was to have the swimming pool and exterior lanai facing towards waterfront. The second, was the required flood elevation for the 1st living level, approximately 10’ above the roadway. The goal was to have the swimming pool and exterior lanai at approximately the same level as the main living level, therefore, elevated approximately 8’ above grade, all while maintaining a gradual access to the front entry.
